Sourdough Potato Buns 🎥

These buns are soft and pillowy and are perfect for burgers – especially Oklahoma smash burgers and sloppy joes.

Ingredients

125g Cooked Potato (Sweet works great too!)
125g Water
300g Flour
9g Honey
60g Starter
6g Salt
20g Soft Butter

Instructions

  1. Cut and cook potato in boiling water for 20 mins, let cool
  2. Mix all ingredients until it comes together – it can take a while 20-25 mins.
  3. 4h bench rest
  4. Fridge overnight or better 3 days
  5. Shape buns, proof 4h
  6. Spray with water, sprinkle with seeds, bake 375F until 200F internal temp – about 12 mins.
