Sourdough Potato Buns 🎥

These buns are soft and pillowy and are perfect for burgers – especially Oklahoma smash burgers and sloppy joes.

Ingredients

125g Cooked Potato (Sweet works great too!)
125g Water
300g Flour
9g Honey
60g Starter
6g Salt
20g Soft Butter

Instructions

  1. Cut and cook sweet potato in boiling water for 20 mins
  2. Mix, autolyse potato, water and flour for 20 mins
  3. Mix in rest with dough hook until it comes together
  4. 4h Bench rest
  5. Fridge overnight or better 3 days
  6. Shape buns, proof 4h
  7. Bake 375F 30 mins
