This goes on a slab of Sourdough Yorkshire Pudding.
Ingredients
4 Lbs Bone-In Prime Rib
1/4 Cup Butter, Softened
1 Tbsp Pepper
1 Tsp Herbes de Provence
Salt
Instructions
- Bring prime rib to room temperature, 6 hours. Heat the oven to 500F
- Mix butter, pepper, and herbes de Provence. Spread mixture over entire roast. Season generously with salt.
- Roast for 20 minutes.
- Turn the oven off and let the roast cook in the oven for 2 hours.
