You’ll make this when you make prime rib.
Ingredients
1/4 Cup Prime Rib Drippings or Ghee
250g Warm Milk
3 Eggs, Room Temp
4g Salt
120g Starter, Room Temp
120g Flour
Instructions
- Place cast iron skillet in the oven and heat to 400F.
- Measure 2 Tbsp of drippings/ghee and add to a Kitchenaid bowl, along with flour, milk, eggs, starter and salt. Use whisk to mix until smooth.
- Remove hot skillet from oven. Add 2 Tbsp drippings/ghee to the skillet and swirl to coat. Pour in the batter, return to oven and bake until it is puffed and golden brown, about 30 minutes.
