Beef Stroganoff

Another reason to have sourdough egg noodles or spaetzle around.

Ingredients

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

2 Lbs Beef Chuck Cut Into Strips
1 Tbsp Butter

8 Oz Sliced Mushrooms

1 Onion, Diced
2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
1 1/2 Tbsp Flour
1/2 Cup White Wine
2 Cups Beef Broth
1/2 Cup Creme Fraiche
1 Tbsp Chives
Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Sear Beef in olive oil, remove from pan
  2. Cook mushrooms and onion in butter
  3. Add garlic, cook until fragrant
  4. Add flour, cook a minute or 2
  5. Add wine and beef broth, simmer covered for an hour or 2
  6. Add creme fraiche and chives
