Harissa

Useful in so many ways – try combining it with dates!

Ingredients

7 Dried Arbol Chiles
2 Roasted Red Bell Peppers
2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
4 Garlic Cloves
1 Tsp Caraway Seeds
2 Tsp Coriander
2 Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tsp Salt
Juice and Zest of 1 Large Lemon
2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Soak Chiles in Hot Water
  2. Cut bell peppers into quarters, place on foil lined baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and roast at 450F for 20mins.
