Sourdough Spaetzle 🎥

Basically sourdough egg noodles with a German twist. And you get to fry them in butter!

Ingredients

135g Starter
4 Eggs
90g Milk
260g Flour
6g Salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients with a paddle attachment
  2. Rest for an hour or longer
  3. Bring large pot of water to a boil
  4. Spread some of the batter on a cutting board and cut “slices” into boiling water – cook 2 mins and rinse with cold water
  5. From either fresh or cold Spaetzle: heat butter in pan and fry Spaetzle until browned
