Sourdough Pandesal

The Filipinos ultimate tinapay, a staple during breakfast. The name means “bread of salt”.

Ingredients

113g Starter
151g Water
300g Flour
5g Salt
37g Sugar
50g Vegetable oil

Breadcrumbs for coatinng


Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and mix with dough hook until it comes together
  2. Rest 2 hours, then fridge up to 72h
  3. Shape into balls, coat with breadcrumbs
  4. Bake at 375F for 25 mins
