5g Salt
1g Baking Soda
2g Baking Powder

1 egg
125g Starter
5g Vanilla

113g Butter, Cold, Cubed
200g Sugar
340g Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg, vanilla extract and sourdough starter until smooth.
- Mix butter and sugar with the paddle attachment until it forms small crumbles, 60 seconds. Add the chocolate chips and mix 50 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix on low-speed until the batter starts to become a crumbly mixture, 20-30 seconds. Pour in the egg mixture and mix until the dough comes together for 30 seconds.
- Rest dough for 24h.
- Portion dough into balls, place on parchment lined baking tray.
- Bake at 375F for 18 minutes.
