Pickled Jalapeno and Pickled Red Onion

You’ll want to keep both on hand at all times – use them on everything – like beef braise on hoagie rolls

Ingredients

8 Jalapenos or 1 Large Red Onion

Pickling Juice

237g Apple Cider Vinegar
237g Water
33g Sugar
17g Salt

Instructions

  1. Stir all pickling juice ingredients until dissolved – I like to use these containers for this – fits perfectly for this amount
  2. Cut jalapenos into slices or thinly mandolin red onion, add to pickling juice
  3. Rest in fridge overnight
